He is a noted strategist, educator, inspirational speaker, and consultant to humanitarian organizations in the Islamic world, and is the author of numerous scholarly articles. She is a nurse midwife and licensed Spiritual Director. Together they travel regularly to Asia to coach, advise and oversee field workers, as well as mentor and prepare a new generation to reach out with love and respect to Muslim peoples. They currently live in Southern California, but were born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. His focus is on the training and development of church leadership and those whose desire is to plant additional churches. He works with follow-up of internet and satellite TV evangelism contacts and serves as a networker among media ministries and those handling media contacts. He and his wife, Betsy, have two adult children currently attending college in the USA.
