On Sunday, August 24, at 10:30 am, we will have our morning service outside in Schenley Plaza. This will be a great time
to be in the midst of our city worshipping God. So, mark your calendar, and bring a friend! ------------------------------------------------------------------ North Way Oakland Film Festival
We are looking for participants for our 2nd annual North Way Oakland Film Festival on October 24. If you have a film that
you would like enter in the film festival please fill out the online registration form and send it to Lindsey Phillips at
lindseyp@northway.org. We will be accepting anything from short film, documentary, commercial,
motion graphic, etc. If you are interested in this opportunity please submit your registration form (below) by September 15 and
your film by October 13. Any questions please direct them to Lindsey Phillips at
lindseyp@northway.org. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Serving Older Adults Allegheny County has one of the largest ratios of older adults in any county in the country so we have a great opportunity to reach out to those whom culture has isolated and left alone. We will be heading down to the Residence on Fifth, an assisted living residence to address this need and build relationships with older adults. On Sunday, August 3rd after the morning service we will head down for the 1st of 3 visits in the next 2-3 months. We will share lunch and talk about some of our vision for our time together. We will start fall classes on Thursday September 4, 2008. Free classes will be held every Thursday at 6pm at North Way Oakland. Mats will be provided for students and the class is designed for all levels. In order to get a good idea of the students who will be attending this class we are asking that you sign up in advance.
